In work the chemical analysis of heavy metals cations content in the higher aquatic plants and ground deposits collected on shallow sites of Volgograd water storage basin at large industrial agglomeration Saratov-Engels is carried out. It is established that accumulating of heavy metals in plants decreases in the following row: Fe2,3+>Cu2+>Zn2+>Co2+>Cd2+. The shipped vegetation accumulates Zn2+, Cu2+, Co2+, Cd2+ is on average 1,5-2 times more in comparison with coastal and floating vegetation. Potamogeton lucens L., P. рerfoliatus L., Myriophyllum spicatum L. are the most perspective vegetable objects for carrying out diagnostic monitoring of water objects.
