Analysis of the condition of methods of managing energy systems in the Russian Federation

In this article, modern methods of controlling generation, transportation and distribution of electricity have been studied. Considered modern problems in street lighting systems. A table comparing the methods of electricity metering in Russia with some European countries. Further, the intelligent energy networks (Smart Grid) were considered, as well as a comparison of the current power supply system with intelligent networks.
