Development of the area is inextricably linked to the use of land resources as the main means of production and spatial basis, therefore, in the interests of the population of each region and society as a whole should carry out a complex of measures for preservation, reproduction and rational use of land resources. Organization of rational use and protection of land is highly relevant for agricultural areas, which include and Amur oblast. The work purpose - the analysis of the current land use in Amur region on the basis of ecological and landscape approach. The object of research is the landscape, as a complex with homogeneous natural components. The article presents material on contemporary land-use in Amur region. Performed system analysis, detailed within the ecological and landscape approach to the use of land and related means of production, providing a science-based issues of land use and land management. The analysis of data obtained as a result of generalization of the land annual statistical reports of municipal entities, shows a predominance in the structure of land Fund of the Amur region of the forest lands, which account for 84.5% and agricultural lands - 9.8% and the reserve land is 2.2%. When the ratio of natural and cultural landscapes, the largest share of natural landscapes is landscapes of the Northern regions. So, in Tyndinsky district, the proportion of natural landscapes is 99.7%, Saw - 98.2% in the Zeya - 96.8%, in the Skovorodino - 95.7 %, this distribution due to the predominance of forest lands. Developed and presented a map of the intensity of use of landscapes of the region. Analysis of usage of landscapes of the Amur region indicates the reduction of natural and cultural increase.
