Analysis of the current state of development in the field of tourism in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the study of the current state of the concept of development in the tourism sector of the Russian Federation. It is determined that the place of development in the tourism sector is associated with the preparation of investment and construction projects aimed at the development of both individual components of the tourism cluster and the entire tourism cluster in the long term. It is revealed that the importance of development projects is associated with the possibility of obtaining multiplicative effects: growth of the gross regional product, stimulation of activity in related economic spheres (trade, transport, construction, catering, etc.), integrated project-targeted development of the territory, creation of the necessary social infrastructure, investment environment, business climate, implementation of the cluster approach et al. As a result of the analysis, it is concluded that development in the industry is at the stage of its active development, determining the extensive prospects and growth opportunities of the tourism cluster.
