Analysis of modern financing tools for small enterprises in Russia

Small enterprises, as an integral part of the market economy, performing extremely important tasks, the main ones among which are contributing to the growth of employment, the development of competition, and increasing tax revenues to the budget system, face financing problems in their activities. A shortage of financial resources, unfavorable conditions for borrowing money, and a lack of working capital require improving the types and instruments of financing small enterprises, which is an important condition for their successful development. The sources of financing for small enterprises are grouped depending on the stage of the life cycle. The analysis of the state of the SME sector in the Russian Federation, traditional and alternative types of financing for small enterprises made it possible to identify the shortcomings of financial support measures and formulate the main directions for further work to solve this problem.
