The article deals with the specifics of tutor support of a person. In order to consider the specifics of the «tutor» profession, we had to turn to the etymology of the word «tutor». The definitions of the concepts «tutor» and «tutor support» in the works of researchers and dictionaries are considered. The authors of works that describe the technology of tutor support of a person are given. Tutoring support can be described as a specially organized activity of a tutor in helping the tutor understand his educational request and further develop an individual educational route. The article describes the main principle of tutor support and its stages. The algorithm of the tutor's work and its role in working with the tutor is described. The goal of a tutor accompaniment is formulated, the concepts of «tutor» and «tutor support» are revealed, the main task of «tutor support» is revealed.
