Spectral composition analysis of the current and voltage of led and gas-discharge light sources

The measurement results of the voltage and current spectral composition of modern light sources used everywhere are considered in the article. According to the authors’ data the significant distortion of current curves caused by the influence of non-linear loads in the lighting networks is observed. Very large current values appear in the neutral conductor of the distribution network that can lead to alarm conditions caused by the neutral conductor burnout.
