Analysis of the structure of household income and its distribution in the Russian Federation

In our time, income is one of the most important indicators in a market economy, as it determines the level of satisfaction of human needs. The stability of the political sphere of the state and the standard of living of citizens depend on the distribution of income in society. Most people strive to get as much income as possible in order to meet the greatest number of needs. And this desire can lead to the fact that income inequality reaches a large scale, which creates social tension in society and violates the economic stability of the state. Russia has one of the highest levels of income differentiation in Europe, which is why income and the theories of its distribution deserve special attention. In this article, the structure of income of the population in the Russian Federation was considered, and at the end of the article, the measures of state policy to reduce the differentiation of income of the population, which include social payments to certain groups, were given.
