According to industry normative documents the technological scheme of development of any oil field includes 3D geological modeling. Therefore it is important to experts to know bases of geological modeling, the sequence of performance of certain stages, possibilities of use of computer programs, etc. Due to the above in this work methodical approach to creation of geological models of oil and gas fields is briefly described and also the list and purpose of basic data is provided
