The analysis of theoretical approaches to study of psychological adaptation of migrants

This report describes information about psychological adaptation of migrants. Characteristic of migrants as a special social group has been introduced. The factors influencing the psychological status of migrants have been distinguished. Data on the anxiety and stress of acculturation has been analyzed. Historical and modern data of notion of «cultural shock» are outlined.
