Analysis of trade turnover between Russia and the European Union in the post-crisis period

Trade and economic relations between Russia and the European Union have problematic, but promising areas of bilateral partnership. Their relations are influenced by political, economic and social factors that have serious consequences for the economy of the two sides. The article analyzes the dynamics of foreign trade turnover between Russia and the EU for 2017-2020. Based on the data obtained, it is concluded that the anti-Russian sanctions imposed will only lead to adverse economic consequences, especially for the EU member states.
