Analysis of petroleum products transportation in Democratic Republic of the Congo

Oil is an important strategic export product in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The development and welfare of the state's social sector directly depends on the volume of exports. Worldwide, the transportation of petroleum products is an important task for all companies that supply them. The article analyzes the types of transport for the transportation of crude oil that are used in the DRC, describes their advantages and disadvantages. The companies that are engaged in oil transportation are described. The logistics is given. In general, it can be concluded that rail transport and pipelines are mainly used internally, while tankers are used externally. Road transport is not used due to the condition of the roads.
