Analysis of introduction success of rare and protected plants in the botanical garden of the Belgorod University

A critical analysis of introduction success of rare and protected plants in the Belgorod state university botanical garden is carried out. It has been established that the collection of the plants contains 103 species, 19 from which are included in the Red book of the Russian Federation, 52 are in the Red book of the Belgorod region, 6 species - candidates for introduction to the regional Red book. Problem species for an introduction and plants, which are the most perspective for phytogenofund replenishment are revealed. That is necessary for development of measures on preservation of rare species. Previously the main strategies in behavior of the plants are defined.
