Analyze the effect of two-phase load on the supply network

The article considers some aspects of the influence of two-phase loads on the supplying three-phase network and proposes ways to neutralize such influence, having relatively low cost. Such methods are based on the use of reactive power and distortion compensation devices using power electronics technologies, in the form of so-called “thin” AC converters of the “Thin AC Converter” (TACC) type. Various combinations of controlled filter-compensating and symmetering devices called dynamic capacitors, which have a second name inverter-less active filters, have also been considered.
