Analysis of the Impact of Integration Interaction on National Competitiveness (The Case of China)

The article examines the stages of China’s international economic integration and the integration associations in which China plays a significant role. An attempt is made to establish the relationship between China’s competitiveness ranking and independent variables characterizing the results of its cooperation in these integrations. The analysis is based on up-to-date statistical data for the last 15 years, reflecting the integration activities of China, on the basis of which correlation and dispersion analyses have been carried out. The aim of the work is to construct regression models representing the mathematical relationship between the indicator of China’s place in the World Competitiveness Ranking (dependent variable) and the values of indicators characterizing trade-economic, investment, China’s social and other cooperation with countries of integration associations (independent variables). The results of the analysis allow us to understand how changes in independent variables affect a country’s competitiveness.
