Бесплатный доступ

This article analyzes the impact of natural resource availability on the socio-economic development of Russia and Tajikistan. The paper examines the specifics of the economies of both countries, their dependence on natural resources, and the role of these resources in shaping economic growth strategies. In Russia, which has significant reserves of oil, gas, and other minerals, resource dependence has both a positive and negative impact on long-term development. In Tajikistan, on the contrary, limited natural resources and a focus on hydropower create other challenges and opportunities for development. The article also discusses the risks of resource dependence, the role of external economic factors, and possible ways to diversify the economies of both countries.
