In this article, a detailed and analysis of internal transport equipment used on livestock farms and greenhouses today is carried out. In greenhouses, the share of manual labor is still high. The use of minitractors leads to environmental pollution, and the use of electric tractors is associated with a high cost of the tractor itself and batteries. In livestock complexes, the use of tractors, in addition to environmental pollution, leads to a significant decrease in the efficiency of the feed distribution cycle, and also requires unreasonably high fuel costs. In monorail suspended feeders, an electric drive is used according to the scheme "rotating asynchronous motor-gearbox-driving rollers". Such a system has low energy and operational indicators. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the introduction of an electric drive based on a linear asynchronous motor in monorail transport systems is promising.Such an electric drive is spared from the disadvantages inherent in the listed types of transport and allows you to increase energy and operational performance.Recommendations for optimal design of low-speed linear asynchronous motors are given.
