Application of artificial intelligence for automation of routine tasks in interior design

This paper explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of digital interior design. The study identifies key areas for automation of routine tasks commonly encountered by designers, including visual concept generation, 3D modeling, material selection, specification calculations, and client communication. Special attention is paid to modern AI tools such as neural network-based image generators, language model-based assistants, and specialized plugins for visualization and modeling software. The article presents examples of AI applications at various stages of project work and provides an assessment of the advantages and limitations of these technologies. The results of the analysis demonstrate the high efficiency of integrating AI tools into the workflows of interior design professionals, contributing to time optimization, improved decision quality, and expanded creative potential.
