The review integrates available data about the structure, particle morphology and processing behavior of lunar regolith powders, and provides a feasibility analysis of additive manufacturing forming construction elements out of regolith-based materials. It reviews the most promising additive manufacturing technologies applicable to lunar operational environment and use of regolith as a basis for powdered materials for 3D printing. It provides an analysis of scientific studies aimed at selecting an additive manufacturing technology for lunar environment.
