Analysis of the appearance of the mountains of the Mountain-Shirvana (Shamakhinsky) physical and geographic area

The article discusses the main causes of landslide processes in the Gorno-Shirvan (Shamakhi) physiographic region. Work done on the basis of cartographic sources. The analysis of the physical and geographical conditions of the area was carried out. Landslides of the Akhsu pass were examined in more detail. The National Atlas of Azerbaijan is widely used. There are two main causes of landslides: natural and man-made. The role of morphometric indicators of relief is also noted. Analyzed the damage caused. Prepared package proposals.
