The article examines the interaction of cultural characteristics and artistic practices during the Republic of China (1912-1949), analyzing the mechanisms of formation of a unique cultural synthesis. Attention is paid to three key aspects: the collision of Chinese and Western traditions, the blossoming of pluralism, and the democratization of art. Changes in painting, music, theater, and dance are explored, where traditional forms took on new meaning under the influence of Western culture. An important finding is the two-way relationship: cultural change facilitated artistic innovation, which in turn drove social transformations such as the critique of feudalism in Lu Xin's literature. The findings highlight the significance of this historical period, as the artistic experiments of that era laid the foundations of contemporary Chinese cultural identity and offered a model of synthesis relevant in the context of globalization.
