Analysis of the journal fund of the Central Scientific Agricultural Library on the topics of livestock

A bibliometric analysis of the printed document flow on livestock issues was carried out. The thematic range of journals on the subject of animal husbandry and biology of agricultural production has been studied. animals from the fund of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution of the Central Scientific Agriculture Library. It has been established that over the past 10 years, the supply of journals to the CSAL fund has decreased. Selected and analyzed in accordance with the SRSTI rubricator journals on various sections and problems of animal husbandry. It was established that in the field of animal husbandry in each of the branches, 1-2 scientific journals are published in printed form, and there are also 5 topical Russian scientific journals on biology of agricultural animals. The issues of feeding farm animals and feeds are widely covered (4 journals). A brief description of the most relevant journals is given.
