Anatomic and functional parallels of orthotopic urinary reservoirs, formed of various parts of intestine

The study examined the possibility of improving the results of intestinal cystoplasty substitution after radical cystectomy. Postoperative anatomic and functional parameters of artificial bladder in 56 patients have been studied. A comparative evaluation has been done for the plastic material used in reconstruction and methods of forming orthotopic reservoirs. The results allowed to determine their functionality and suitability for full replacement of the bladder.
