This article provides a review of current data on the regularities of anatomical and morphometric changes in the human fetus during the prenatal period. The main stages and factors influencing the development and changes of anatomical and morphometric parameters, such as growth, body proportions, and the size of individual organs and systems, are discussed. Special attention is given to research methods, such as ultrasound diagnostics, magnetic resonance imaging, and other modern approaches that allow tracking the dynamics of changes. The analysis of existing data reveals important patterns and deviations in fetal development, as well as evaluating the impact of various factors such as genetics, maternal nutrition, and environmental conditions on the process of prenatal development.
