Andrey Nikolaevich Kolmogorov and Academy of Informatization of Education

The article deals with the analysis of the scientific activities of our compatriot, the great scientist of Russia, the greatest mathematician of the XXth century, the genius from Tunoshna, the active member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR - as one of the founder of Computer Sciences, the Theory of Algorithm and the Informatization of Education. There is considered the contribution of the Academy of the Informatization of Education in the preservation of the memory about the greatest scientist. The author analyzes the activity of the Academy of the Informatization of Education (some its projects).
