Anozognozic type of attitude to disease in patients with chronic heart failure at the initial stages (I-IIFK in NYHA)

The work has been carried out to determine a type of attitude to disease (TAD) in patients with I-II FK NYHA chronic heart failure. Part of patients has anosognozic type of attitude to disease. Patients with anosognosic type of attitude to disease use non-constructive coping strategies (escape-avoidance, distancing) and «search for social support» which is used as auxiliary adaptive resource. The basis of anosognosia is protective mechanisms that do not allow to perceive negative information (negation), and distorting it (reactive formations).
