Anti-advocate law in action: what is the new order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on the advocate’s warrant threatening?

In the article on the basis of materials of scientific research and practice of lawyer`s activity the content of the Order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation from 23.09.2024 № 282 «On approval of the form of the warrant, requirements for its filling and execution» is considered. The conclusion is made that the Order contains prescriptions addressed to lawyers, which can significantly complicate both the advocate's activity and its organization and negatively affect the independence of lawyers and advocacy in the Russian Federation.
