Antibacterial agent lysozyme in the research of Soviet microbiologist Z.V. Ermolyeva in the 1960s

The article reconstructs the scientific and experimental activity of the famous Soviet microbiologist Z.V. Ermolyeva on the study of the antibacterial agent lysozyme in the 1960s. Prior to that, the scientist had studied this enzyme quite extensively in the pre-war period. The publication examines the theoretical research and experiments of the scientist and her laboratory staff, as well as analyzes clinical trials of lysozyme in various medical fields.
