The state’s anti-criminal strategy: countering extremism. Part 2 methodological foundations of criminological and criminalistic prevention of extremism

The final part of the intermediate stage of the of the research work “Anti-criminal Strategy of the State: Countering Extremism” . The global interstate nature of extremist crime is noted . Attention is paid to international cooperation with friendly international forces on the issues of anti-extremist prevention . The concept and content of the information component of criminological and forensic prevention of extremism are considered . It is shown that the information component of prevention ensures the introduction of positive ideology into public consciousness .In the structure of such prevention the following directions are also distinguished: protection of victims, victimological, ideological and educational, formation of tolerant public consciousness . The stages of criminological and forensic prevention of extremism are defined, differing in the tasks solved, the scope of work and the nature of the measures taken: initial (carried out by the investigation, court, operational and investigative units, in order to determine the presence of extremist manifestation and its type), working (anti-extremist activities are carried out, with adaptive refinement of preventive measures) and final (generalization and analysis of the results, planning of further preventive work) stages .Criminological and forensic prevention is divided into the levels of general-social (measures that ensure the harmonization of legal relations in economic, political, ideological and other spheres), special-criminological (prevention and suppression of extremist crimes), individual (prevention and suppression of extremist activities of a particular person) . The youth direction of criminological and forensic prevention is highlighted . Anti-extremist prevention in the youth environment is linked to the ideological aspect . The proposal to involve students' scientific potential in the study of the problems of this direction is justified .
