Antioxidant activity of antidiabetic agent "Diabenol"

Dose-dependent inhibition of reactive oxygen species (superoxide anion, hydroxyl and peroxyl radicals) generation was revealed after diabenol administration in an in vitro model. Diabenol did not influence the oxidation of lipoproteins. It is necessary to investigate antioxidant properties of diabenol in vivo.
