Antitheses of extremist morality

The article discusses a topic of extremist sentiments in Russia during the period of cardinal change of the value system. It is revealed that the civic consciousness is supposed to become the systematizing and educating power under the current circumstances. The authors think, that among the reasons, supporting the extremist activities, there are aggression, intolerance and xenophobia. It is concluded, that the most encouraging and effective means of extremism control is prevention, propagandistic and educative measures.
