Elements of Christian anthropology of the theological concept of Archpriest F. A. Golubinsky are set forth in his essay “Speculative Psychology”. In this essay, Father Theodore answers the question about the essence of the human soul, examines the life of the soul, touching the area of mystical experience. The anthropology of F. A. Golubinsky is traditionally based on the dogma of the god-likeness of man. He divides speculative psychology into two sections: 1) about the essence of the soul and its properties: here the author speaks of the properties of God, which in a limited form can be communicated to man as a creation of God; 2) about the origin of the soul and different periods of its existence: about the earthly and afterlife of the human soul.
