Apocalyptic collisions and biblical allusions in the works of A. A. Akhmatova in the end of the 1910s-the early 1920s

The article is devoted to one of the stages of development of the apocalyptic plot in the works of Akhmatova. On the material of the poems included in the collections of «Podorozhnik» (1921) and «Anno Domini» (1922), the receptive specifics of the incarnation of the eschatological motifs is traced, a number of allusions to the Holy Scriptures is revealed, first of all, to the «The Revelation of St. John the Divine».
