The article shows the symbol of a shooting star (comet) in Russian poetry (poems of A. Fet, N. Gumilev, M. Voloshin, S. Esenin, A. Blok, our contemporary priestmonk Roman, etc.) in the context of Apocalypse and on the basis of patristic Christian tradition.
