Learning Arabic language in Russia and Russian language in the Persian gulf countries as a key to fruitful cooperation

The article considers the importance of studying Arabic and Russian as foreign languages in Russia and the Arab states of the Persian Gulf. The value of intrinsic motivation when learning languages of those regions is discussed. The authors list prestigious educational institutions teaching Arabic in Russia and Russian in the countries of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, describe the academic staff, compare price offers for language courses. It is emphasized that the modern technologies help to deal with the difficulties of learning a foreign language for effective cross-cultural communication.
