Archaeological exploration in the Sogom river basin

In the 2015 field season, archaeological exploration was carried out in the Sogom Basin on the territory of Sogomsky archaeological microdistrict, with the aim of cultural and chronological attribution of sites. In total, 20 archeological sites were examined including 7 hillfort sites, 11 settlements and 2 burial grounds. As a result, new data on the chronology of the surveyed sites, which generally fit the well-known cultural and chronological types of the regional sites and have parallels in the materials from the Lower Irtysh and Surgut Ob Region.
