Archaeological Studies in Alexandria of Egypt: Problems and Prospects The article is devoted to the historical research of the ancient Egyptian city of Alexandria, large megalopolis of the antiquity. Using extensive archaeological data and research as well as analyzing them, the author gives a general idea of the location, importance and history of the city in its connection with the Old and New Testament eras.
