Archaeological cultures on the Korean peninsula (Stone age - Early Iron age): a brief review of a modern condition of study

This brief review presents of educational material on Korean archaeology supplementary to the general course of «The History of Korea» for Masters of Arts (History) with the specialty in Oriental studies and part of course of «Foreign Archaeology» for specialty in Archaeology. Main sites and cultures are determined, from the earliest stages of appearance of Homo at Korean Peninsula, and up to the period of formation of early states.
