The article describes archaeological sites of the Central Yakutia located in the thermokarst depressions, alas, dating from the Neolithic age to the Paleometal era. These areas have never attracted interests of archaeologists, since they were considered to show little promise. But the recent researches have proven that ancient people settled in these territories since the Neolithic era. The article has been prepared as a part of the Russian Science Foundation project № 15-18-20047 "Landscape Ontology : Semantics, Semiotics and Geographic Modeling."
