The Orenburg archeology in 1920 - 30's

The paper is devoted to the problems of the study of archeological monuments in Orenburg region in 1920 - 30 s. The field studies of B.N.Grakov, M.P.Gryaznov, V.V.Golmsten, K.V.Salnikov and other scholars in the steppes of the South Ural are analyzed. The contribution of these studies to the development of the problems of the Bronze and early Iron Age cultures in the South Ural is assessed.
