Legislation on archaeology in the early Soviet period

The article is devoted to the investigation of the legislative acts and statutory documents on the archaeological heritage which were passed by the Soviet government and People’s commissariat for education in 1917-1935. It was the time when basic principles for further development of Soviet and Russian archaeology were laid.
