Archaeological and historical objects of Tara town and their mapping

In a course of Tara fortress investigation team of Omsk department of IAET SB RAS get materials which allow to study a set of questions associated with a culture of the first Russian Siberians of XVI-XVIII centuries, as well as different aspects of their economic, political, commercial activity etc. This article considers the opportunity to refer to up-to-date maps the studied archaeological and historical Tara complexes. In future, it will allow to compare the up-to-date map of Tara town with plots of the early XVIII century and historical and urban maps of XVIII-XIX centuries and to interpret the function of studied excavated object correctly. The author had analyzed where the historical objects are situated on the up-to-date map and previously mapped on it the territory of Tara fort, whose constructions were found partly. As expected totally it is relevant to Lenin Square including the implacements of merchant houses of XIX century. Nikolsky church, the bridge across the Arkarka River and outset of the Old Catherine road as well as Bokharan quarter, some streets and roads bear a relationship to Tara fortress position. The author gears the further development to wide use of archive recording contained Tara description and analysis of the carthographical materials of XVIII-XIX centuries. This method is based on correlation of the reference points on the asynchronous maps and plots, scaled down and oriented equally, and was tested during the First Omsk fortress study.
