Architecture of employment indicators of the population and labor resources in the Chelyabinsk region

The expert opinion defines the concept of labor resources, the level of employment of the population, indicates the signs and factors influencing changes in the number of labor resources and the level of employment and unemployment. Attention is focused on a comprehensive assessment of the influence of various demographic and economic factors on the growth/decrease in the level of employment of the population of the Chelyabinsk region. A diagnosis of the labor resources of the Chelyabinsk region and an analysis of the employment of the region’s population are being carried out. Proposals are being developed to increase the number of working-age labor resources and the number of employed people in the Chelyabinsk region is predicted, and an assessment of the effectiveness of these proposals is calculated. Effective use and full employment of labor resources is an important issue. The workforce includes able-bodied residents of working age. Therefore, in order for the labor force to grow, it is necessary to increase the level of employment due to the economically inactive population or increased migration. The collection of statistical data on the level of labor resources and the level of employment and unemployment of the population of the Russian Federation is carried out by the Federal State Statistics Service, which makes it easy to find data for further analysis. In the process of forecasting employed residents of the Chelyabinsk region in 2020-2021, a regression model was developed, showing the direction of reduction in the percentage of employed residents in the entire number of economically active residents. This focus is due to the fact that the number of labor resources in the Chelyabinsk region is decreasing.
