In article the wide range of the questions connected with architecture of wooden churches of Southern Ural is considered. The interesting layer of a heritage of region is revealed. The extensive material of natural inspections of monuments and the analysis of drawings is resulted. On the basis of these materials features and characteristic lines of a composition, decisions of the plan, a decor of wooden cult buildings of region are considered.
