Architectural sketches from nature as a means of professional competences development of bachelors of design

The article deals with the resources of architectural sketches from nature as a means of professional competences development of Bachelors of Design. It is argued that the professional competences of architects and designers are based on environmental relations having inside and outside contact aptitude. The authors emphasize the objectives of making sketches by architects and designers, such as: development of perception of forms and images, generalization of what is seen, selection of the most interesting, development of active perception of objects, compositional thinking.
