K. E. Voroshilov's archive fund as a source of social history of Soviet fine arts

The article is aimed at the research of a possibility of using the archival fund of the Soviet military and political leader K. E. Voroshilov for reconstruction of social aspects of fine arts history in the USSR. The author analyses the documents that help to reveal the specificity of patron-client relationships within art bureaucracy and political elite in the Stalin's epoch. Special attention is paid to K. E. Voroshilov's and A. M. Gerasimov's long-lasting business and personal contacts.
