Archives as objects of historical and cultural heritage (on the materials of the personal fund of N.S. Romanov)

Archives are a source of inexhaustible knowledge and act as one of the main keepers of historical and cultural memory. The preservation of the documentary fund of a personal and business nature not only allows you to restore events, facts, but also prevents the distortion of historical reality, which leads to the loss of human qualities and the creation of global conflicts. The role of archives as documentary sources is traditional, but their significance as full-fledged monuments of history and culture is not considered by researchers closely enough. Meanwhile, archival documents in themselves are historical and cultural monuments of cultural value. In this context, archival sources are practically not considered by researchers.
