We analyzed changes in the main parameters of cardiac biomechanics and kinetics of the main arteries in patients with arrhythmias. We also described the mechanisms leading to hydraulic shock to arterial vessels. Extrasystolic arrhythmia is considered as an additional risk factor for atherosclerosis of the main arteries. The article covers the stages of development and progression of atherosclerotic plaques caused by hydraulic shock in extrasystole. We provide a rationale for early treatment of any extrasystole, and, first of all, those occurring before mitral valve opening.
