The arctic zone of Russia in the context of the socio-economic development of the country

The article is devoted to the analysis of the forecasts of the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The authors emphasize the role of the macro-region in the development of the country and necessity to work out state program of the social-economic development of the Arctic zone of the RF. The article contains the offers on the formation of the system of the state statistical observations, models for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation as entire and separate subject of economy, the implementation of investment projects in connection with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation № 296 «About land territories of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation».
