Life of the people in arctic (Ust-Yansky ulus of Sakha in Yakutia)

The article presents the results of expedition to Ust-Yansky Ulus of Sakha in Yakutia. The authors show the life conditions in Arctic and lifestyle of the peoples inhabiting it. They share their impressions of the nature, traditions and holidays of the Yakut Arctic, paying special attention to social, ethnic features of the Ulus people and cultural diversity of life in this region of Arctic.
